Poetry Reflections are a collection of 38 streaming videos featuring Jimmy Santiago Baca reading and reflecting upon a selection of his works. They are intended to help teachers engage students in an open, inclusive dialogue about life-matters that affect their spiritual, emotional and academic wellbeing.

Using these reflections will help to enhance the student's interest in learning and increase their self-esteem to free them to express what is meaningful to them. Poetry Reflections explore what the students are struggling with, will help to break down the obstacles to learning, and encourage the empathy and compassion vital to true learning.

The first set of Reflections were shot and edited by 21-time Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker and producer Chris Schueler. Sets 2, 3 and 4 were produced by Gabe Baca, Rich Richmond, and Victor Dias Rodrigues respectively. Purchase single reflection videos or get a monthly subscription for unlimited access to every video. All proceeds are used for Cedar Tree, Inc. educational programs and community projects. Cedar Tree is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
